Functional Architecture
Blue Matcha is a single-ingredient botanical powder sourced from pure Clitoria ternatea (butterfly pea flower), stone-milled to a sub-micron particle size that dissolves completely in hot or cold liquid — free from fillers, flowing agents, and artificial modifiers.
The Synergy
The active chemistry is the anthocyanin class known as ternatins, which do two things at once: provide antioxidant activity and act as a pH-reactive pigment that shifts from deep blue to violet-purple on contact with acid. Because the flower carries its own complete profile, this is a clean single-botanical powder that needs no supporting actives — the function and the color come from the same source.
Transparency & Safety
Contains butterfly pea flower (Fabaceae/legume family); avoid if allergic to legumes. Anthocyanin pigment can stain surfaces and fabrics. Not a substitute for medical treatment.
Your Daily Signal
Beverage: Dissolve 1–2 g (about ½ tsp) in 200–250 ml of water or plant-based milk at 70–85°C; stir or whisk until fully incorporated. For the pH-reactive color shift, add an acidic element such as lemon juice or citric acid after preparation.
Culinary: Incorporate 1–4 g per recipe into dry batters, doughs, or wet emulsions at ambient temperature; pigmentation intensity scales with volume. Avoid sustained heat above 90°C to preserve anthocyanin integrity.
Cold: Fully soluble in cold water (minimum 10°C); whisk or shake for 20–30 seconds until dissolved. Suitable for cold brew, smoothies, and iced latte bases.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and reseal after each use.
