Blue Matcha is 100% butterfly pea flower (Clitoria ternatea), dried and finely milled into a single-ingredient powder, with no fillers, flow agents or added color. Despite the name, it isn't green-tea matcha and contains no caffeine.

Color that changes in the cup

The flower's natural pigments, anthocyanins called ternatins, give a deep blue that shifts to violet and pink when you add something acidic like lemon or lime. The color and the change both come from the flower itself.

Made for everyday use

Whisk it into lattes, lemonades, mocktails and smoothies, or use it to color frostings and baked goods naturally.

Organic Butterfly Pea Powder (Clitoria ternatea)

Label serving: 1 tsp (2g). Use ½–1 tsp per drink, depending on how deep you want the color.

Hot: Whisk into 7–8 oz water or plant-based milk at 160–185°F. For the color change, add lemon or lime after mixing.

Iced: Whisk or shake well with cold water or milk. Some settling is natural, so stir before drinking. Great in smoothies, lemonades and iced lattes.

Baking: Add to batters, doughs or frostings for natural blue color. Heat and acidic ingredients can dull or shift the color.
