Ginger + Turmeric Latte with a Pumpkin-Spice Twist

Steaming Ginger + Turmeric latte with softly frothed milk beside the Eleven TLC 168g jar.

Your Ginger + Turmeric ritual, with a little fall magic. This warming drink mix already brings ginger, turmeric and pumpkin pie spice together in one delicious blend. Whisk it into creamy milk, then add a small pinch of pumpkin spice from your pantry when you want a little extra autumn flavor. So easy, and such a lovely variation on a fall favorite.

Add espresso for a golden morning latte, pour it over ice for an afternoon treat, or leave out the coffee for a cozy evening cup. The mix does the work. That familiar pantry spice is simply the finishing touch.

Ingredients

Makes 1 generous latte or 2 smaller servings. Use a 20 fl oz mug for the full hot recipe.

  • 1 shot espresso (about 1 fl oz), or ¼ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1½ cups milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp Eleven TLC Ginger + Turmeric Golden Mix
  • Optional: a pinch of pumpkin pie spice from your pantry, up to ¼ tsp to taste
  • Optional: maple syrup, only if you prefer a sweeter cup
  • Optional: a little extra frothed milk + a very light dusting of Ginger + Turmeric mix

Method

  1. Brew. Prepare your espresso or strong coffee.
  2. Warm + whisk. Gently heat the milk in a small saucepan until steaming, without boiling. Whisk in the Ginger + Turmeric mix until evenly blended. Add the optional pinch of pantry pumpkin spice for a little extra fall flavor.
  3. Make it creamy. Briefly froth with a handheld frother, or whisk briskly for a soft layer of foam.
  4. Pour + savor. Add coffee to your mug, pour in the golden spiced milk, and taste. The mix is already lightly sweetened; add a little maple syrup only if you prefer a sweeter cup. Finish with extra milk foam if you like. A very light dusting of the drink mix is optional.

Why We Love It

Your favorite mix, dressed for fall. Ginger + Turmeric is the heart of this latte: warming, creamy and already layered with pumpkin pie spice. A small extra pinch from your spice cupboard brings that fall-favorite aroma forward. Nothing complicated—just an easy way to enjoy the jar you already love.

Warming Roots, Thoughtfully Blended

Ginger for a bright, warming finish. Ginger has a long history of traditional use for indigestion and digestive discomfort. Here, its gentle heat balances the creamy milk and makes the cup especially inviting after a meal.

Turmeric for that unmistakable golden glow. Turmeric contains curcumin, a naturally occurring plant compound studied for its health effects. Paired with ginger and a touch of black pepper, it gives this latte earthy depth and a beautiful color. Research on concentrated supplements does not establish the same benefits for a serving of this drink.

Morning Glow, Evening Comfort

For mornings: add espresso for roasted richness and the lift of coffee. Serve hot with a soft cap of foam, or over ice for a crisp autumn afternoon.

For evenings: leave out the coffee and warm the milk gently for a golden milk ritual. Sip slowly after dinner or while settling in with a book. It is a cozy way to wind down, without promising a sleep effect.

A Little Cycle Comfort

On period days when you crave warmth and a slower pace, we love the coffee-free version as a comforting companion. Think soft clothes, a warm mug and a moment for yourself.

Ginger supplements have shown promise for reducing menstrual cramp severity in some studies, but the amount and formulation differ from this latte. Enjoy it as a cycle-comfort ritual; this recipe has not been shown to relieve cramps or balance hormones. Read more about ginger research.

Your Pumpkin-Spice Order, Reimagined

A standard U.S. Starbucks grande (16 fl oz) hot Pumpkin Spice Latte lists 50g total sugar; the standard grande iced version lists 45g. Those totals include milk sugars as well as added sugars. Customizations change the numbers. Hot latte nutrition · Iced latte nutrition.

Our at-home approach lets you choose unsweetened milk, skip extra syrup and keep the toppings as simple as you like. It is a delicious way to make your fall favorite fit your preferences. Total sugar depends on your milk, mix, maple and toppings; we have not calculated a like-for-like nutrition comparison.

Make It Iced

Whisk the mix and optional pantry spice into hot coffee with a splash of warm milk, then stir in the remaining cold milk. Let cool slightly and pour over ice in a large glass, or divide between two glasses. Stir before sipping as the spices naturally settle.

Make It Your Own

For a less sweet cup: choose unsweetened milk and try it before adding maple. The mix contains coconut palm sugar; your choice of milk and extras also contributes to the drink’s total sugar.

For a creamy finish: froth your favorite milk. Leave the foam plain, or add a whisper of the Ginger + Turmeric mix. For a coffee-free cup, follow the same milk-and-spice method without espresso.

Estimated timing: 2 minutes prep + 3 minutes heating. Allow extra cooling time for the iced version.
